Ok, Fess Up! Who Put The Curse On The Gay People?

"Bubble Bubble, Toil and Trouble, make them gay on the double"

“Bubble Bubble, Toil and Trouble, make them gay on the double”

I recently had a conversation with someone and I was okay with this conversation because it was open and honest and without  any hatred involved. This person asked me “Chrissy, who do you think put the curse on the gay people?” I laughed at the time because it sounded so funny to me but to make a long story short, this person feels that since nobody would choose to be gay then being gay must be some kind of curse put on certain people as retribution for something they did wrong. Really? You, mean they weren’t just born that way? How do you know that the curse isn’t on straight people?

Everyone is entitled to their own opinions and beliefs and I try my best not to judge people that think, feel or believe differently than I do. But that conversation made me think and I have to say, lately I just feel like the hate and ignorance is out of control. Every time I watch the news, or go online, there is some type of controversy going on involving bashing, name calling and hatred. I think it’s disgusting. We have large companies saying that their products are not made for certain people, people going nuts because there is an interracial family in a commercial, and small businesses who want to deny services to certain people. WTF? Seriously, with all the tragedy in this world, this is what matters?

I think there are 2 things some people need to learn.

1. It doesn’t matter who you love or how you love, just that you love.

2. Know the difference between times where you should get involved and times where you should MIND YOUR BUSINESS.

Unfortunately, they probably won’t learn them.

They all must be too busy trying to figure out who put the curse on the gay people……

Hater Of The Day: The Angry Ex

February 24th, 2014 by HATEMORR Chrissy No comments »

angry exgirlfriend“I only hate you because he loves you.”

Today’s Hater of The Day is brought to us by Mikayla from Brooklyn, NY.

Mikayla says:

How can you hate someone you don’t even know? I have been in a relationship with Shaune for a year. We are happy and we plan to get married in 2015. The only problem we have is his ex. She hates me. Because he loves me. They have no kids together, they do not speak to each other, but she knows he has moved on and because it was with me, she just hates me. She spreads rumors about me, stalks me on Facebook and Twitter and I even saw her peeking out at me from behind a tree on the street just watching me. She tries to break us up by using other people to send messages to me and him and she has done this for the whole year I have been with him. My only hope is that she doesn’t find out the details and show up at our wedding next year!

Mikayla, all I can say is there is nothing like an angry ex! As long as he doesn’t entertain her bullshit and you and him always remain on the same page, you will be fine! Good Luck!!

Hater Of The Day: The “You shouldn’t talk to him, you should talk to me” Hater

February 22nd, 2014 by HATEMORR Chrissy No comments »

why you talking to him“He talks to a lot of chicks, I wouldn’t do you like that…”

Today’s Hater Of The Day is from Duwan in Brooklyn. Duwan says:

“There’s this guy who recently moved into my apartment complex. I never said a word to him, never had no problems that I know about but he is nothing but a hater. Every time he sees me talking to a woman he goes out of his way to talk to her. I can hold my own, so I don’t care if he talks to them but I found out from 6 different women that I know, that after he saw us speaking he approached each of them to talk about me. He tells them that I talk to a lot of women and that he doesn’t. He tells them that they shouldn’t talk to me, that they should give him a chance instead and that he heard all these rumors about me. Only a true hater does that! The funny part is I am not romantically involved with any of these women. They are my neighbors, we all live in the same place and have known each other for years, so they don’t believe a word he says. He is the worst type of hater, a man that talks down on another man to try to get a woman.”

I hear you Duwan, that definitely is one of the worst types of haters. That’s a deal breaker for me, if a man tries to get my attention by throwing dirt on another man’s name, it is an instant turnoff and I stay away!

Keep your hater stories coming! I love to read them and share them!

Hater Of The Day: The “CongratuHATER”

February 21st, 2014 by HATEMORR Chrissy No comments »

Today’s Hater of The Day story comes straight out of Brooklyn, NY from Tasha J.

Tasha says:

OMG Hatemorr Chrissy, I never knew what a hater was until I met this woman at my job. Let’s call her Nancy. Nancy will congratulate and hate all in the same sentence! I mean, who the f*ck does that??

For example: “Tasha I love your hair like that, I thought of cutting my hair like that but I realized it’s a little too old for me, but it looks great on you!” or “Hey Tasha, congratulations on the promotion, you are going to have lots more work but it’s okay since you aren’t married and you don’t have any kids to go home to. I wouldn’t have been able to accept the promotion if it was offered to me because I have so many family responsibilities, but it’s an incredible opportunity for you!”

It’s constant and it ranges from tiny, unimportant things all the way to major life events. I swear I have to remind myself everyday that she is just a hater and so far it has kept me from just losing it on her! She is definitely Queen of The Haters!! I just keep doing my thing and I have to admit that it is kind of funny to me to know that me being happy and doing positive things makes her so jealous.

Tasha, it’s definitely hard sometimes to deal with a hater but it sounds like you have it down pat! Keep smiling girl, haters hate it when you smile!

So Much To Share…

January 26th, 2014 by HATEMORR Chrissy No comments »

Lately we have been kind of quiet on the site, that’s because we have so much going on right now behind the scenes, so much more for you to see this year, and we are trying to give our attention to everything. I won’t say too much more than that, because we want to surprise y’all but it’s very exciting so make sure to stay tuned!

We are working on a series of posts where we will be talking about the way fashion in Hip Hop has evolved through the years from the 80′s till now. From Run DMC to Little Wayne to ASAP Rocky, things have changed drastically and we are going to go through the decades and look at the way fashion changed. What trends were popular? Did any stand the test of time? Stick around, it’s sure to bring back lots of memories and even more laughs!

I am also working on a post about a very interesting conversation that I had recently with a friend of mine about homosexuality that I can’t wait to share. So, come back and check me real soon and as always, I would love to hear your thoughts!

Now There’s No Way I Can Give Up! #SlapDash100

November 10th, 2013 by HATEMORR Chrissy No comments »

This is a post I wasn’t going to write. I wasn’t going to write it, because I was worried that I wouldn’t be able to do it and I would look stupid to anyone who had read it. Now, 10 days in I feel like I have to share it. Maybe because if I share it, I am less likely to give up and make excuses for why I gave up, or maybe someone will read this and it will inspire them to get up and do it too. I decided that either of those reasons, were good enough.  So, if you’re reading this you are probably like ok, wtf is she talking about? Well, I am talking about the  100 Miles in November Challenge aka the #SlapDash100! » Read more: Now There’s No Way I Can Give Up! #SlapDash100
